September, in four steps
Back-to-school skin is just summer skin in a different shirt. Do not buy a new identity.

The light changes. The air conditioner is still on. Lists of fifteen 'dermatologist' products arrive because September is a shopping season, not because your face filed a syllabus. Here is the short version the desk is actually using.
Wash, calm, treat, seal
Medicube's PDRN jelly cleanser if you want a wash that does not argue. Heartleaf after, on a cotton pad if the T-zone is loud. One active — PanOxyl on acne nights, Prequel's milk peel on texture nights, never both. A cream or the Kahi stick on the mouth. Sunscreen in the morning even if the weather app says 'nice.'

Medicube · K-Beauty
PDRN Jelly-to-Foam Cleanser
A cleanser that pretends to be a jelly, then behaves.

Anua · K-Beauty
Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner
The toner that made soothing a search term again.

Prequel · Skincare
Multi-Acid Milk Peel
A peel that looks like milk and should still be used like an acid.
The year turns. Your barrier did not ask for a new religion.
If you add one new thing, make it SPF you will reapply — Tower 28 if you want a tint, Neutrogena if you want the bag, Blue Lizard if you want mineral and a bottle that tattles in the sun. Everything else can wait until October, which will try to sell you a 'fall transition serum' with the same water in it.

- The Saturday-out desk: SPF 70 for the long day, a green-tea daily for Monday, a berry tint for lunch
A dry-touch SPF 70 for a weekend spent outside, a light green-tea sunscreen for the weekday desk, and a ten-dollar Korean lip tint for the bag. Not a press-step, first-care, or balm-step reprint.
- The first-care step: ginseng serum before toner, then a rice SPF
A prestige first-step serum on just-cleansed skin, a low-pH refining toner for texture nights, a rice SPF 50+ for the commute, and a seven-dollar lip oil for the bag. Not a press-step, balm-step, or oil-step reprint.
- The press step: a prep toner by hand, a light cream, a matte SPF
A hydrating toner pressed in with the palms, a niacinamide-centella cream in a tube, a beta-glucan SPF 50+, and a low-dose retinol for two nights a week. Not a balm-step or oil-step reprint, and not another exfoliating toner.
